● Saturday, May 23, 2026 @ 2:00 pm
● Hennepin Canal on Rt 40 in Rock Falls, Il
Come join the Yak Yak Sisters for the 12th Annual Blessing of the Vessels.
Don’t let the name fool you, we have men that kayak with us too!
Pastor Jan and Pastor Cheri will be leading The Blessing with a short service at the launch.
We will all get blessed for the upcoming paddling season by standing by our vessels and then we will paddle down the Hennepin Canal.
Bring your kayak, SUP, canoe or any other vessel that you want to be blessed.
We put in and take out at the same location so there’s no need to shuttle vehicles.
The launch is right next to Moore Tire on Route 40 in Rock Falls, Illinois.
For directions Google “Hennepin Canal Feeder Line Bridge 45 & boat ramp”.
