Located at the former Rock Falls Fire Station in uptown Rock Falls and listed on National Geographic’s new online travel guide, the Firehouse Ministries Fire Museum takes a look into the history of firefighting in the Rock Falls area. Firehouse Ministries Fire Museum was born out of a vision and a dream. It was restored by volunteers of Firehouse Ministries and its purpose is to be a place to learn, enjoy time with family, and remember the past. Historic pictures of the fire stations, trucks, and structure fires adorn the walls. You’ll find treasures of vintage firefighting equipment all around. The antique fire trucks will bring out the child in anyone of any age. Admission is free and by appointment only. Donations are accepted.
