WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE NATION’S LARGEST TOUCH A TRUCK EVENT!
Touch A Truck of Rock Falls is a community-funded, non-profit event dedicated to inspiring the next generation. What started as a local gathering has grown into “The Big One,” officially recognized as the largest event of its kind in the country.
NEW FOR 2026:
To accommodate our record-breaking growth, we are moving the event to Downtown Rock Falls! We are taking over the downtown area to create a massive interactive zone featuring nearly 200 vehicle attractions.
OUR MISSION: LOOK. TOUCH. LEARN.
We believe in getting kids off screens and onto machines. This is a unique opportunity for families to get up close to the equipment that builds, serves, and protects our community.
Climb inside massive construction rigs.
Meet the heroes from the Illinois DNR, Tollway, Police, and Fire departments.
See Hollywood history with our featured Movie Car displays.
Explore race cars, air boats, vintage trucks, and more.
INCLUSIVITY MATTERS
We are proud to host a Sensory Friendly “Quiet Hour” from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. During this time, all horns, sirens, and loud engines will remain silent to ensure children with sensory sensitivities can enjoy the event in comfort.
COMMUNITY POWERED
This event is 100% free to the public, made possible entirely by local donations and sponsorships.
